Saturation
A piece that has taken three pieces cannot capture again.
Counted per piece for the whole game and it never resets. That queen who ate your position is now a very expensive blocker. The saturated piece still moves, still gives check and still defends, it simply cannot take. If it is the only piece that can move at all, the rule steps aside.
